For an assignment in my Fall 2003 Communication Design Fundamentals class, we were assigned to create a booklet featuring a number of assigned articles. We were restricted to using only grayscale text, lines, and shapes. I chose to create a booklet containing text only on the right side of each spread. The resulting field of whitespace was meant to inspire creativity in contrast to the sterile design of the right pages.
